The oldest Android version that the ZEDGE app can be installed on is Android 7.0 (API level 24)
The Zedge Wallpapers for iOS requires iOS version 14 or later.
If you do not have a device capable of supporting the minimum OS version, you will not be able to continue to use the Zedge app.
You can find which version of operating system you're running in your device settings.
Why am I having trouble updating the Zedge app?
Most of the time, you can choose to allow your apps, including Zedge, to automatically update when a newer version is released. This will happen in the background but you may notice something new when you open the app after an update. While we work hard to make sure Zedge works on most phone versions, it’s not always possible to support devices past a certain age. Sometimes, due to major changes in our app architecture, we are required to stop allowing older versions of the app to connect to our services.
If your device is too old or doesn’t support the latest OS version it may stop Zedge from working. If Zedge no longer supports your device, we apologize and hope that if/when you decide to upgrade to a newer device, you'll choose to install Zedge again. In the meantime, you can view ringtones and wallpapers on our website at zedge.net
