Creating an artist page
When you first activate your Zedge Premium Marketplace seller account, you'll need to create at least one artist (project).

Click the Add an Artist button, 
enter an artist name and click the Check Name button to make sure the name isn’t already in use.

Once the artist name is validated, you can click the Create New Artist button. 

This will take you to the Artist Detail / Artist Home page.

 

Note: an artist must have 
1) a name, 
2) a profile image, 
and 
3) at least one active content item before it can be made active in the Zedge app.


Artist Name 
Click the edit icon next to the artist name to open the field to enter or edit a unique artist name.
The name must be less than 22 characters. 

Artist Profile Image / Icon
This should be a small, square image representing the artist. 

You can see how this image will display in the app in the upper left hand corner of any Artist Page. 


To add or change this image:

• Click the plus sign in the Artist profile image box and click Choose File from the popup window.
• Navigate to the location on your computer where you have stored the image you wish to upload
• Select the file, then click Open
  (Images must be 500 x 500 pixel jpegs)
• Note that, for graphic artists in particular, an example of your work will often generate more click throughs from users than a headshot.

Artist Information

To add the optional artist information, click the Edit icon to open the fields

• Description/Bio (optional): 
  Click this field to enter or edit enter a brief (no more than 210 characters, including spaces) description of the artist and/or the work,
• URL (optional): 
  Click this field to enter or edit a url where fans can learn more about you and your work -- a website, an Instagram page, wherever you’d like to send people.
• Tags (optional):
  Click this field to enter any terms people might use to search for your type of art (genres for musicians, styles for visual artists, etc.). 
  Separate each term with a comma. You may use a maximum of 10 tags. 
• Featured Image (optional): 
• This is a large, rectangular image that will be used to promote the you and your work whenever you’re featured on the Zedge Premium landing page. 
• To add or change this image:
  • Click the edit icon
  • Navigate to the location on your computer where you have stored the image you wish to upload
  • Select the file, then click Open
  • Images must be 1242 x 699 pixel jpegs
  • Since Zedge is a global product available in many different countries, please do not embed text in your header image. 
  • A crop of one of your images, or a photo of the artist, is best here.

Click the Save button to save your changes.

You can edit your artist details at any time -- before or after the artist is published to the app. 
Changes you make to a live/published artist get picked up regularly and made visible to users of the Zedge apps.

• Published/Unpublished:
  • When an artist is not published and therefore does not appear in the app it will look like this.
    
  • Click on the Publish button to make the artist active in the app. 
    (You cannot publish an artist until it has a name, a profile image, and at least one active content item.)
  • When an artist is published and is therefore visible in the app it will look like this.
    
  • Click on the Un-publish Artist link and confirm to remove the artist from the app.
